The RCMP approved CFSC course’s primary purpose is to ensure that students are knowledgeable regarding the responsibilities of possessing and using non-restricted firearms (most rifles and shotguns). The course is delivered at a complete beginner level and includes a written and practical test.

The training provided in the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) prepares students with beginner-level knowledge on the responsibilities of possessing and using restricted firearms, their safe use and handling as well as storage of firearms and ammunition.
